SmarTee provides access to exclusive inventory and deals that you can't get anywhere else. You can always go to the course's reservation system to purchase other inventory at the online rate.
You can bid whatever you want, but your bid won't be accepted if you don't make a reasonable offer. Each 1-hour time window that's available for bidding has a minimum acceptable bid that is determined by a complex artificial intelligence algorithm and is constantly changing. There's no way to outsmart the algorithm, but you can learn a lot by watching the deal meter.
The deal meter indicates the potential savings available during a given 1-hour time period. Our AI algorithm sets the deal meter based on expected demand. So the deal meter can give you a hint regarding what to bid.

Here's how it works:
Sometimes singles can't book a tee time even when there are tee times available for larger groups. With PairTee, we'll take your reservation and pair you up with the first available group. This guarantees that you'll get to play in the hour you selected. We'll then send you a text with your specific tee time at least 12 hours before you tee off.

No. Once a reservation has been made, it cannot be modified.
Yes, just download the GolfLine mobile app, login with your SmarTee credentials, go to Reservations and select the reservation you'd like to transfer. An email will be sent to that person with the details of the reservation.
Yes, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance. If cancellation is allowed, go to Reservations under My Account and select the reservation you'd like to cancel. You can also cancel your reservation using the GolfLine mobile app.
You don't get a refund, but you get a full credit that you can use at any golf course that uses GolfLine's AI technology. You can see a list of those courses at www.mygolfline.com or in the GolfLine app under Courses.
If we gave cash refunds, people could "game the system" For example, someone could bid $20 and get accepted. Then, they could bid $19 and, if accepted, cancel the $20 reservation.
GolfLine credits can only be used to pay for future tee times you book through a reservation system powered by GolfLine or the GolfLine app. (Go to www.mygolfline.com or to Courses in the GolfLine app to see what other courses are available.) If the amount due is smaller than your GolfLine credit balance, your remaining credit will be retained in your account. Conversely, if the amount due is larger than your existing GolfLine credit, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card. Credits must be used within 12 months or they expire. In SmarTee, you can see your credit balance in the top right corner under the Menu. In the app, credits are located on the Place Bid screen.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will issue a full refund to your credit card after we confirm with the course that it was closed at your tee time.
You will be subject to the course's rain check policy, just like you would if you booked directly with the course.
If you don't show up for your reservation, you will forfeit your payment. You will not get a refund or credit.
When you get to the course, just provide your name and reservation confirmation number to the pro shop attendant.
You must have a GolfLine account to use SmarTee. The same account will work in the GolfLine app.
No, your credit card information is stored in a digital wallet by our third-party vendor in a highly secure manner. At no time is your full credit card information even available to GolfLine.
SmarTee lets you book up to 7 days in advance of your desired tee time.
Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your purchase as soon as your reservation is confirmed.
